All-Star Game, Houston 1961
Delgado played for three playoff teams at Miller High (1958-60). The 1958 club made the state semifinals and the 1960 team won the state 4A crown. A second team all-state end, Delgado played in the 1961 North-South All-Star game. He was an All-Southwest Conference tackle on the 1961 freshmen team. Delgado played three varsity seasons at Baylor (1962-64) and in the 1963 Bluebonnet Bowl. He earned All-SWC honorable mention honors in 1964. Delgado coached in a Waco junior high in 1965 and moved to CCISD in 1966.
